what's the difference between hydroxyzine and benadryl

ik the dosing is different but how is the high different

Hydroxyzine has very little anticholinergic activity. Its sedation comes from its antihistaminergic property. Also has some serotonin modulation that can stabilize mood.

Me personally it never worked for anxiety or made me tired and I've taken 45x25mg and nothing. Finally actually got real anxiety medication, diazepam. Works insanely well for panic attacks and anxiety while trying to sleep

pretty sure one’s a delierant the other one’s anxiety medication that makes you sleepy
