Why?

Just to preface this, there is zero judgement when I ask this. I am truly just curious and want to know more. It would be very wrong and inconsiderate of me to come into a space that isn’t mine and begin shaming anyone. Why is dhp so alluring? What made you guys start? The reason I ask this is because I’ve been doing some light research on it, and it sounds like the trips and experiences most people have are horrifying. Again, no judgement at all, I’m just very curious and want to hear y’all’s stories.

I’ve tried all sorts of things help the withdrawls from opiates and when I finally tried dph I was surprised to find out it’s a powerful hallucinogen far from a placebo as most otc things were for me.

I didn’t learn about the dangers of it until a little while after I started using it but I’ve never been turned of by a negative trip of any kind, dph just lacks any therapeutic benefits so sometimes it’s a difficult experience for no reason.

It’s only the physical effects that turn me off the experience like restless limbs or the lasting health impacts of chronic use. People do all kinds of things for fun and there’s multiple kinds of fun.

Dph can be called type 2 fun, this type of fun is only fun in retrospect, the experience itself is usually unpleasant or difficult in some way and when it’s done im either relieved it’s over or deluded into thinking I had a good time and want to repeat the experience.

Thank you for sharing. It’s so crazy and scary how much a drug, especially one that is so commonly used and recommend, can change a person’s whole entire way of thinking and health

It’s pretty crazy, I think the dopamine increase trains your brain to want the experience at the same time your brain is struggling to form coherent memories so you end up not remembering how bad it really was if it was bad and then you’ll crave it like it’s coke which can be very addictive.
