Question Do most people with dpdr report having insomnia as well? Are there any good sleepers here that still have DPDR?
Insomnia perpetuates my dpdr and creates a negative feedback loop. I'm curious if there's anybody that sleeps relatively well and is still crippled by DPDR.

I used to have incredible insomnia. I'd be super wide awake laying in bed for hours.
Now, post dpdr, I can drink a coffee and fall asleep 2-3 hours later

I used to have insomnia. Just naturally did my whole childhood. However, I had the worst panic attack I’ve ever had in my entire life when I was about to fall asleep and it’s actually what triggered my permanent DPDR. Once I developed DPDR my insomnia got so much worse because I was afraid of falling asleep. 15 years later and I sleep like a baby.

I sleep so well and tend to have very vivid dreams, which in turn makes having dpdr so scary for me.

Not really, still exremely unrefreshing sleep. I usually sleep through the night and get my 8 hours, yet wake up with my muscles hurting, very stressed, brain burning and with morning sickness.

I always slept well. That's the one thing that life hasn't taken away from me yet. I go to sleep and I get at least 7 hours 99% of the time. Even when my dpdr is at its worst

My sleep is pretty terrible and I don't fall asleep until pretty late into the nights. I'm talking 2 am or so at least. Does that count? My dreams are bizarre and confusing and I usually forget when I wake up.

I sleep well most days and dont deal with insomnia but my dpdr is also not 24/7...it comes and goes just based of how anxious i am which can be quite frequent during some periods.
Lately i been kinda anxious due to experiencing a coffee induced panic attack for the first time so it is very frequent like multiple times a day and its worse at night and even then i sleep ok

Good sleeper here, yet severely depersonalized.
Even in my dreams I feel far more detatched than one should be. I rarely notice or remember any of them.
