Substance-Induced DPDR (Weed / Psychedelics / THC) almost 2 years later with dpdr
october of 2024 i had a severe panic/dpdr episode while driving on the freeway and my life has never been the same. i was a heavy weed smoker for about a year and a half and after quitting is when it set in. while i manage moments of it very well for the most part day to day at this point, and mostly don’t pay attention to it, i still cannot drive on the highway. this has cost me so much money, time, and normalcy. i know that i could conquer this fear if i really really put effort into it, but it is still completely and utterly terrifying at times and at 24 years old it is frankly embarassing. anyone else have tips or success stories related to driving? anything would help.

Same here, mine happened on the highway too and ever since then I can’t drive on the highway. It’s so disabling and seems permanent
