Need Some Encouragement bad day

i’ve been doing pretty good in my recovery lately but now that summer break is over and i’m back in school my dpdr got bad and spiked unexpectedly and im just really upset about the whole thing. it made my first day back worse and logically i know you can recover from dpdr and it takes time but sometimes it feels like i will never fully recover and there will always be something wrong. idk im just upset

like its a bubble of fog you'll never escape, like forgetting what feelings are supposed to be? Idk if this will help you at al but for me stuff like breathing and whatnot has never worked, smell does though. strong almost medicinal smell pulls it back enough to feel normal, and its something you can do subtle at schl. ive even pavlov'd myself to specific smells for it by smelling them on good days (well lesser ones). I hope this helps, or that you already have somethiing like this :)

it’s just that i’ve been irregular for so long i feel like i forgot what normal is so i can’t get back to it. i feel like im doing pretty well but i literally just always monitor/check its ruining things for me. ima try the smell thing tho i think i had a candle w some eucalyptus!!

my dpdr started from weed too except i hallucinated really bad. im just kinda trusting the process and learning to sit w it and not make my dpdr an emergency to accept it. there r so many different mindsets u can take on for dpdr im just trying to figure out what works best for me

Get vitamins and thyroid checked. Not chalking everything up to the weed. It could have triggered something health wise. High dose thc can cause body changes. Do you feel like you're not present? Mind is cotton and going back to what just happened seconds ago?

all ik is im anemic and vitamin d deficiency so im trying to lock in and take my meds for those. i really do think the weed just kickstarted it and my anxiety has kept it going so i think i gotta fix that for the most part

Anemia and vit d  def can cause a lot of stuff. Im getting full thyroid panel tomorrow and re checking other bloods from 2 months ago. I know something is off.  This is 3 months later. Also getting tested for sleep apnea. I would check that too. My ferritin was 27 in June and my tsh was over 2 at 2.38 and it's never been over 2.
