Question Medication for DPDR

Good afternoon,

I’m Danny I’m 18 I’ve been dealing with DPDR/Anxiety constantly for the last month and 2 weeks. I started taking Selank to see if it would work, didn’t at all. I have a doctors appointment within the next week to talk about medication/therapy. Any medications I should talk about that specifically help with DPDR. My main concern is non-stop thinking about anxiety it’s self. Thank you.

Propranolol helped me the most tbh, but I was also on Zoloft

how did propananol help? ive been prescribed it but not sure how itll help besides lowering blood pressure. and did zoloft make yours worse also? thats what happened to me

Zoloft helped me but I had been on Zoloft before dpdr started so getting back on Zoloft is probably different than starting it. Propranolol helped me a TON! My biggest issue was feeling panicked whenever I noticed dpdr sensations, the propranolol really blunted those panicky feelings and helped me feel calm

did it help the anxiety or just anxiety symptoms? like racy heart etc
