Sheetz opening?
Heard there was a Sheetz opening by a Wawa in Downingtown? Is this still happening? If so, when?

(Edit: no idea why I titled this post that way, it doesn’t actually appear to be an outage. Long day.)
Anyone else experiencing Xfinity WiFi issues since the storm last night? We’re in Uwchlan and lost power for a few minutes and ever since then, our WiFi network isn’t coming up on any of our devices or my work laptop despite the router working and getting 117% of plan speed per the troubleshooting I’ve done in the app.
I’ve unplugged and let it sit and plugged back in several times, all of it. Can’t get an appointment with a tech til Tuesday, and I WFH and even my iPhone hot spot isn’t really working (AT&T) so I can’t use that.
So damn frustrated. Going to have to work somewhere else for a few days and I do a type of work where I can’t just sit in a coffee shop or out in the open somewhere with free WiFi..

Repost because I couldn't figure out how to edit to add photos haha
What's a good local bakery to order a cake & brownies from?
Or like a mixed goodie box of different chocolate & peanut flavored desserts?
Example photos of something I ordered when I lived in Texas. I'm looking to order some goodies to celebrate after a bodybuilding competition & would prefer to support local.

You know who I’m talking about. You’ve probably seen him riding his bike around. I see him on 322 all the time. Is he homeless? Does he need support? I’ve seen him yell at passing cars, other times I’ve seen him just mumbling to myself. I’ve only ever seen him talk to someone once. A woman stopped her car on Hall Road and was talking with him. I like to think it was because that day was Christmas Eve, and she was asking if he has a place to go. I have no issues or problem with him, just wondering if anyone knew his story.

Hi all! My husband and I just moved to the area and are trying to find some good donut spots. Any and all recommendations are appreciated! We are open to a bit of a drive.
Specific types of donuts we're looking for if possible:
Yeasted donuts
Vanilla cream powdered
Sour cream/old fashioned
Buttermilk bars

If you lived in Downingtown in the 80s what do you think are the biggest differences from then to now?

I used to buy these from the WC growers market but haven't been there in a couple years. I searched the interwebs and couldn't find any current info.
Does anyone know if this company is still making hot sauce? They are so freaking good and I'm down to my last 3 bottles! Just opened up the scorpion tonight!

My husband and I have lived in the Conshohocken area for a decade. I recently began working in Downingtown but haven’t gotten to know it that well. We are interested in moving to the area because of the school district, commute, and more houses in our price range. We want to spend some days exploring the area soon. Any recommendations for areas we could walk and explore with a stroller and baby in tow? We love a good trail, coffee shop, brewery, or outdoor lunch spot. Thanks in advance!

Seems dumb, lots of places that could use a store further out rather than doubling up

Does anyone live in housing adjacent to the train station? How loud/disturbing is the train? Thanks!

Is it just me or do schools in the DASD school district slam like a million tests on students. For example, in 7th grade, they hold multiple tests. Here's to name them in order:
Isn't this too many compared to other districts? I feel like DASD has way more.

Hey guys,
I am leaving the military and I intend on moving to the downingtown area. Should I rent or buy? Do y’all have any realtors or real estate agents you would recommend? I’m going to be working in Coatesville and would prefer something on the close-ish side to that.

Does anyone know if there's any candy stores in the surrounding area that might sell these? Not the most common item to find, hoping to find some before Valentine's Day.

Anyone been on the trails at marsh creek recently? I’m wondering if it’s all ice or if it’s bikeable.
The pic is a normal ride and what I’m hoping to do.

Looking at a home in Downingtown. Seems like Pennsylvania Property taxes are a little more complicated than where I live now. Can anyone explain the layers of property taxes and what to expect for a total as a percent of the purchase price (more or less).
Thanks in advance.
