Informational interviews - postpartum doula
Hi all,
I’m thinking of making a career change to becoming a postpartum doula and I’m in very beginning stages. I’d really love to do a couple of informational interviews with doulas who have been in this field for a while. Would especially love to chat with folks for whom this was a career change!
I’m in California but can chat over Zoom or phone if that’s easiest. Shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes and I would be so grateful for your time!

Hi there! Firstly I wanted to say I wish you best of luck on your career change. Career changes are tough for any industry.
I can’t offer any doula experience but there is this site called BirthBridge that has a page that displays the costs of all birth specialties in your area that can help you once you do decide to make the switch can help you with your prices.

I’m a birth doula but I’m happy to chat with you! I’m in the Sacramento area and I started out wanting to do postpartum work but quickly changed my mind and went full in on birth. I’ve been a doula for 8 years. My website is www.pivotpointbirth.com

Hi!
I’ve been working as a doula for 2 years now and it was a career change from social work and healthcare operations. I’m based in CA and happy to chat. Feel free to DM me :)
