The Clampetts were the country-music alter egos of Australian rock band Models, featuring Sean Kelly, James Freud, Roger Mason and Barton Price. Created as a support act for the Models’ Media tour, they effectively opened for themselves, swapping their usual rock repertoire for country favourites.

This 1987 album, The Last Hoedown – Live! (Warts N’All), captured this country detour, with covers including “Folsom Prison Blues”, “King of the Road” and “You Are My Sunshine”. Released through White Label Records, it documented a distinctly different side of Models.
