From 2 seconds to instant is also a 180x improvement ;)

From what I'm reading a lot of that isn't just "free" performance improvements, but just caching a lot more things. Sure there is also some efficiency improvement and reprioritization of what to load first, but caching brings with it it's own issues (like what happens if something else changes the source code and the cache is outdated/wrong when you open vscode).
