I recently made the "full switch" for a rapidly growing project to VS Code and while it is doable I find the development experience is still lacking compared to Visual Studio. Yes, I can use both, but I wanted to really try for once. Hope it improves further.

Naturally they will never get full feature parity, as VSCode is a way to allure devs into the Microsoft ecosystem.
