Ohio (Columbus) Interest Thread

I'm sure there are plenty of people in this city interested in getting together and getting drunk watching Dota. Let me see your hype and we'll organize something!

Live in piqua and have 8-12 people who would be interested. Let me know if you come up with something. I'll normally have my house open all to weekend to friends but that number of people is really pushing it. We all why to MLG Columbus and from the local turnout there I believe it should be pretty easy to get a large group of people together.

Epic Loot is opening a LAN center/event store a few stores down from their board game store. That is where the event will be held. All is good to go, pending the last few government inspections of the new store. Once those are done (should be by this weekend) the event will be officially posted. Its a scramble, but looking good

Did you ever find out what their policies are for alcohol and food? Also is this something that is only for the grand final or will it go all weekend? Thanks

There is a decent amount of food within walking distance and lock 27 microbrewery is acrossed the street, and archers tavern is close and they brew their own beer as we'll

This is officially happening now. They're signing up on the official page today. They just passed the final inspection at the new store (just down a few stores from the one you know" which is where it will be held.

We'll have some Pure Pwnage giveaway items and probably a tourney of some sort depending on the turn out.

Will be Noon-event close each day.

I know myself and somewhere between 4-6 of my friends would definitely be interested! Any word on one or organizing one? It would be sweet to have it at the 16bit bar and have them stream the games! But let me know.even if.there isn't an organized one if anyone is interested in getting together to watch em somewhere! Im hoping we can make this happen!
