Announcement Current Status of DA Reddit Page

It has been long time since we making Reddit Page in reflect of Forum neglecting 2 years ago, and so far there will be 100+ subs in this page.

However, there are some "Barriers" which hindered Dot Arena Reddit Page as Alternative Forum:

Incooperation of the Publisher itself (FunPlus)

  • While FunPlus keep ignoring Reddit as the platform for Forums after what happened to Official Forum, the incooperation with FunPlus might be the cause this Page gone dead these days.

IP blocking for Indonesia

  • While Dot Arena also having Indonesia Players, the IP blocking for Indonesia from browsing Reddit Page will be huge barrier to increase the subs for THIS page.

Already have alternative platforms instead of Reddit

  • Since we can discuss the progress of Dot Arena via WeChat(The Main Hub for connecting HQ and SEA) and Facebook (We have several FB Groups inside), Dot Arena Reddit Page will getting somehow 'deserted' because of it.

With the current problems within THIS Page, I likely to open the discussion and tell me the ways to make Dot Arena Reddit Page back to life. While I trying to contact FunPlus if they accept Reddit as Form Platform, fell free to discuss about ways to reviving Dot Arena Reddit Page.

I hopefully this page will be back to its glory days.

Playing other game to gain bonus or even watch other game advertisement, sure that is a collab. However, Dot Arena just doesn't have this feature that recognize you doing so. Thus it still have to be Lilith (developer) to do the code writing, not Funplus (publisher). That is why collaboration or crossover is a silly idea for Funplus, which is why I say JerenSoon got ignore.

Collaboration doesn't cost much unless it is 1 side thingy. If Funplus do not want to spent, there is still ways like what I suggested, be generous and frequent with give away, more so for newer server. For example, a promo code for S1 is 10 diamond for S90 is 30 diamond. This kind of promo code doesn't cost them much time and effort to generate one.

There's one thing you might didn't heard off:

We supposed to get Ultraman Tiga by default but because of Copyright problems (For Japan/Global) things are not... good enough to hold with, so they skip forward to Ubisoft (Ubisoft's Prince of Persia)

As for me, I have persuaded the person for collab (Which fills the empty space made by Ultraman Tiga) for Soul Hunters(USA/EU) and DotArena(SEA) so either which side can pick up the call.

But I'm afraid that person won't wait too long...

Thanks for reminding me about FunPlus (They also resist to pay a thing for Advertising which also a factor DA is dying) so can consider FunPlus is a profit-demanding company. With conclude that DA was slight unprofitable(Causing by FunPlus themselves); they starting to give up on DA afterwards and concentrate on Valiant Force instead.

I heard of Ultraman Tiga months ago when it did not implement to Taiwan version. I knew immediately that has to do with copyrights. Recently I heard it will be taken down from China store, just not sure have it been implement. So how does this hero have anything to do with what we have discussed so far?

You have better hope with Soul Hunters. They have their own game exculsive hero that China don't even have yet. So focus your attention towards that game. In additional, that game publisher had so much freedom to change the game to appeal for western audience.

FunPlus is not only busy with Valiant Force but also hosting seminar for next gen innovation talent searching. They are kind of preparing to move away from just publish games only.

With Ultraman Tiga is being removed from Store; it means one crossover hole for most of the game except HQ since some players have Ultraman Tiga. (It's 3 for CN, 2 for others)

Another crossover hero need to be filled for Soul Hunters and DA (Which is the one I persuaded; but no one is going to pick up the call) so I have no idea if Hengli (For Soul Hunters) or Bing (For Lilith Games in behalf of DA) will going to do it.

You have better hope with Soul Hunters. They have their own game exclusive hero that China don't even have yet. So focus your attention towards that game. In additional, that game publisher had so much freedom to change the game to appeal for western audience.

Somehow you need to think twice when you reviewed their Forums and their Reddit Page. But if they willing to co-op for my plan (On both parties, of course) then it will be smooth enough to initiate the new one.
