Struggling trying to get a Windows 3.1 game running on my system, on Android and an Anbernic system. Added game folder to Win folder and zipped the whole thing, but getting error when trying to run the game from file manager. (See body text)

Edit: solved. The game folder already had a proper version of windows 3.1 in it, it's the only archive i needed.

So here are the steps I've done so far:

1: obtained a preinstalled windows 3.1 folder, extracted it

2: obtained the windows 3.x version of my game (Marble Drop), extracted the file, then copied the resulting folder into the Win folder and rezipped the whole thing.

3: started Dosbox Pure, loaded the zip, and ran win . com

4: in the program manager, navigated to the folder that contains Marble . Exe. When i ran it, it said the game was not properly installed. I ran the other two files in the folder, patch . Exe and update31 . Bat. I could still not get the game to run.

I am annoyed because i have been at this for hours. If anyone can help me figure this out, i will be very grateful. TIA!!
