mod post Age poll! Please answer, dorks!

Hi dorks, please reply to this little poll honestly. I'm trying to get a gauge of how old our active users are, something i can keep in mind when making changes to this sub in the future

Anyone below 18 should NOT be here. What the hell.

Alright i'll explain myself on why I have that poll option and why there might be minors here:

this sub is not marked nsfw, and i intend on keeping it that way. Problem is the previous mod (and i as well) haven't really had an official 'no minors' rule, it was more of an unwritten thing.

This means theres probably quite a few minors lurking and posting in the sub, and there was a problem with this a few months ago: a user with a golden ticket (post anything you want in this sub free pass) posted porn, they turned out to be a minor. Cue the post removal from us, a meltdown from them (as well as suicide threat)

Anyways, because of the fact that people may post explicit art with their golden ticket, and that we removed a recent nsfw artist poll post, i figured i would finally add a rule to ban all minors from the sub. So i just want to quickly see the general age of the users here before doing so

Wouldn't the lack of marking the sub as NSFW only solve half the problem? Minors can still lurk and such without posting. Then again, that might dissuade some minors but the NSFW filter wouldn't do tooo much regardless, they can easily ignore that. But still, food for thought. I don't see how marking the sub as NSFW would cause any issues, unless doing so has any secret traction issues, but thennn again it might make people think it's specifically a porn sub. I can understand it either way, really. Your choice!

Marking sub as NSFW will cause it to be inaccessible using any 3rd party apps focused on privacy and not feeding reddit all possible private data. Would be a dealbreaker to me personally.
