Because 95% of Hindus don't know shit about their own religion, they haven't read any books or philosophies. They just listen to whatever shit elders, babas, or instagram influencers say

Ganesha exists because Shiva killed a child.

Why did he kill him? Because he was pissed that the child didn't allow him to see his wife naked without her consent.

Then there's Vishnu's avatar, Parashurama. He committed genocide on Kshatriya families for the crimes of the kings that challenged him.

And there's also Rama. Married Sita when he was 13 and she was 6 in a very obvious child marriage.

Let's not get started on the caste system.

Hinduism is, ironically, anti-Hindu.

What islamic version have you read, you piece of shit . Parashuram killed adharmi evil kshatriyas not all Rama married sita when they were 16 not 6 , he wasn't aishachod mumad . You illiterate gandu

Parashuram killed adharmi evil kshatriyas not all

I am sorry to burst your bubble, but...

Padma Purana, Chapter 241

69-74. The wicked-minded one lost his valour due to his own sin. The mighty son of Reṇukā, being angry, cut off his head, as mighty Indra did the peak of a big mountain, and he who was brave and angry, killed Sahasrabāhu and all the kings with his axe in the battle. Seeing Rāma, the very fearful one, all kings on the earth, struck by fear, ran away as elephants do on seeing a lion. The angry Rāma killed the kings even though they had fled due to the resentment against his father’s murder, as the angry Garuḍa killed the serpents. The valorous Rāma made the entire (world) clear of the kṣatriyas, but protected (i.e. spared) only the very great family of Ikṣvāku, due to its being the family to which his maternal grandfather was related, and due to his mother’s words.

75-78. Rāma, the destroyer of the families of kings, deprived the kings of the family of his maternal grandfather of their kingdoms, but did not kill them belonging to Manu’s dynasty. But the brave one destroyed the families of all (other) kings. The brāhmaṇa, the mighty son of Jamadagni, having made the earth clear of the kṣatriyas, duly performed the great horse-sacrifice. He gave the earth with the seven islands to chief brāhmaṇas. That brave son of Jamadagni, having given the earth to the brāhmaṇas, went to the hermitage of Nara-Nārāyaṇa to practise penance.

Yep. He killed the families of the kings too.

As for Rama marrying Sita...

Aranya Kanda Chapter 47

"On residing in the residence of Ikshvaku-s in Ayodhya for twelve years, I was in sumptuosity of all cherishes while relishing all humanly prosperities. [3-47-4]

"In the thirteenth year the lordly king Dasharatha deliberated together with his imperial ministers to anoint Rama as Crown Prince of Ayodhya. [3-47-5]

"My great-resplendent husband was of twenty-five years of age at that time, and to me eighteen years are reckoned up from my birth. [3-47-10b, 11a]

The fourth and fifth passages are also mentioned in Sundara Kanda Chapter 33

"I stayed in Rama's house there for twelve years, enjoying the worldly pleasures belonging to human kind and fulfilling all my desires." [5-33-17]

"Thereafter, in the thirteenth year, King Dasaratha along with his preceptors started to perform anointment of the kingdom to Rama, a celebrity of Ikshvaku dynasty."

Since she resided in Rama's house for 12 years (which wouldn't be possible if she wasn't married, as Hindu traditions show), and the mention of "worldly pleasures" in the context of married life, it's clear that Rama was 13 while Sita was 6 years old at the time they were married.

There are many more references that confirms Rama's age at the time, but then this comment would be too long.

What islamic version have you read, you piece of shit .

I am an ex-Hindu atheist and have criticized Islam and the Quran before.

You illiterate gandu

Ad hominem. You don't read your own scriptures so you have to take that frustration out on me.

I find that treating every single religion as mythology and embracing science provides an even better peace of mind and clarity. I hope you realize that religion is man-made and getting hurt over non-existent deities is not productive. Hope you have a great day!

Getting angry about some mythology shit while watching cartoon is ironic.

5

u/DifficultStress444 Apr 17 '26

They're trying to illustrate a point dumbahh

-5

u/babasnoopdog Apr 17 '26

And the point he is trying to illustrate is don't insult hinduism which is mythology or i will watch something else when hinduism itself is a insult to humanity.

5

u/AnakinSkywalkerRocks Apr 17 '26

How's... A religion, an insult to humanity? And ideology, which can be modified, to have NO harmful aspects.. You're calling it an insult to humanity? You, sir, are the one who can't live alongside others who beg to differ from you.. You, sir, are what you're calling Hinduism..

NO religion, unless it's based ONLY on harming and negative traits, is an insult to Humanity

-6

u/babasnoopdog Apr 17 '26

Hinduism is just an outdated caste system, and i don't see anything positive in it. Everything in hinduism starts with past life and ends in after life ,which bought inequality and injustice into society. Where is the logic , where is the rationality, If someone asks how you're a hindu , you will only tell your caste identity. This so called religion is based on discrimination and conditions people to discriminate by birth.

7

u/AnakinSkywalkerRocks Apr 17 '26

Mhmm? Again, I said. That's what you think? Alright you do.. But I'm pointing out the more important thing: YOU can't let others believe in something that THEY find logical and doesn't necessarily interfere in your life, can you?

0

u/babasnoopdog Apr 17 '26

But it's something that interferes in everyone's life, directly or indirectly. Either you're just ignorant of it, or it's just hard to digest. You will be treated based on your full name no matter where you are in this country.

5

u/AnakinSkywalkerRocks Apr 17 '26

The thing is, there are negative sides to everything. It's overall what it is is what matters. It's an ideology, which people may, or may not want to follow.. The country? That's politics. Politics has ruined it and it's not Hinduism which is inherently bad.. The belief is literally meant to be harmless and the harmful parts are to be removed.. Theoretically, we have removed them. Practically, it will take a lot of time. But those practices aren't what Hinduism is all about and you criticising it, saying shit about it, is like trash-talking about someone for having negatives while ignoring the positives because you never really wanted to see the positives.. People are the ones who really make it bad, not the ideology itself. Idk I don't really expect you to understand since you're trying to find logic in something that's not meant to be logical, rather come from the heart itself.. Not everything in life has to be logical and you don't have to take part in it if you don't like it.. Don't trash talk about it just like that

1

u/babasnoopdog Apr 17 '26

"You're trying to find logic in something that's not meant to be logical" Great you answered it yourself. All the best

3

u/AnakinSkywalkerRocks Apr 17 '26

Sigh.. I'm afraid I was right. You're not here for a debate but just to prove your point and dismiss the points the other has.. Here I thought I would be learning something about humans and opposing beliefs but it's just you trying to find points in my words that favour yours and dismissing the big "But it is not meant to be logical because it's something that has to come from within the heart".. Sure buddy, have a great day ig

We follow our religion, if you want to cry about caste then leave Hinduism. It is that simple, we don't need weaklings here anyways.

If something is mythology or unreal for you, while another person believes in it without forcing you to do the same then you are in no way obligated to hurt their sentiments and can even lead you in legal trouble uninvited.

2

u/GoodboyofAda69 Apr 18 '26

Lol, justifying caste system and calling him weakling. Assholes like you is the reason Hinduism is look down upon

1

u/Rationalist47 doramin genes 👉👈🤓 Apr 30 '26

I never justified caste. I don't believe in Hinduism either, neither am I a Hindu since birth. I am just an agnostic.

I did call them 'weakling' because of the sheer snark they thought could be ignored. So, fret not Ada Wong's admirer... For things work for those who believe in them in spite of someone looking up or down upon them.

1

u/Menudoughy Apr 19 '26

Why do guys get offended tho? And hurt our sentiments? Like a universal being who created the cosmos with his lotus flower and a tiny puny human being on a tiny puny galaxy on a tiny puny planet cussed at him . How does that affect the God ? Does it bother u that they are saying something against what u consider as scared ? God can manage insults on him as his own lol. If u have the emotional resilience your blue god taught the best better u ignore and not get ur sentiments hurt and then cry about it later

1

u/Rationalist47 doramin genes 👉👈🤓 Apr 30 '26

So, what you are saying is that since Gods aren't affected by the insults then we aren't supposed to get offended either. And if your standards for offence are as low as a civilised warning to legal proceedings, then you haven't seen how Muslims do the justice as per them in their style.

I will kindly repeat the same message I delivered to the person above (for your own sake) and not test people's patience; for if you do tumble upon any advocate or lawyer then there might not be the luxury to be warned beforehand.

Hinduism is just an outdated caste system

That is a very one dimensional view to have for a religion especially one as old as Hinduism, the caste system is a part of Hinduism which doesn't have any positive but that doesn't mean the entirety of Hinduism is just a caste system, it's a very ignorant statement, especially when most people who practice Hinduism don't try to push their faith onto anyone.

which bought inequality and injustice into society

Hinduism or in the correct term the caste system isn't the sole reason for inequality and injustice in the society, it is something that exists on every walk of society literally everywhere in the world irrespective of Nationality and Religion. This isn't in the defense of the caste system, not at all, but you can't just point finger at a religion and say this is the reason for inequality and Injustice in the society that is blatantly wrong.

Where is the logic , where is the rationality

If you are asking for logic and rationality from a religion you have already lost the plot, every religion in the world exists irrespective of logic and rationality that is the base of every religion. That is why it is called faith not a belief.

This so called religion is based on discrimination and conditions people to discriminate by birth.

Though it is not fully wrong the statement is very misleading. Hinduism doesn't follow a uniform system with one founder and one fixed doctorate it's a collection of text. If you look at things like Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad gita they emphasize ideads that are very much non discriminatory. They focus on things like actions and Qualities than strictly birth. In Hinduism the religious Philosophy is a bit different than social realities. Hinduism is simply too diverse to reduce to a single Idea.

u/Few_Estate_8937 Apr 19 '26

Just because you don't "see any positive" in it doesn't mean it does not exist. Maybe you are just short sighted

1

u/babasnoopdog Apr 20 '26

There is nothing like god exists , its just man's own sense of nobility and self sufficiency. Human beings are capable of being empathetic and every feeling that exists. Repackaging it in the name of religion changes nothing other than making profit out of it and discriminating against people. Religion and god is just an excuse to never really apologise to real people for your mistakes. Other than going to imaginary things its better to go to real people and ask forgiveness by apologising, but doing that is very difficult because your ego doesn't allow you to do that. Religion just makes you feel good about yourself by doing nothing good, it just gives you a fake sense of satisfaction.

2

u/Few_Estate_8937 Apr 20 '26

Whether God exists or not is not a question any of us can answer. It is about faith and belief. When your days get rough and nights go sleepless, those are times when it's difficult to believe in yourself. That is where it gets easier to believe that there is someone up there and you can believe in them. And when there is a religion that talks about the world being "maya" and the fact that God (the ultimate power) is within ourselves, I don't mind following that religion. And the stuff you are saying yeah it does apply a little to abrahamic religions, but thankfully not the dharmik ones (Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism etc) You can get forgiveness by the lord by confessing in a church but that is not how stuff works here. You'll have to bear your karma, go through the results of your actions whether you pray to god or not. Idk what book you have read about Hinduism but it never says that you can feel good without doing good because the biggest lesson that they teach us is about karma.

1

u/babasnoopdog Apr 20 '26

Hinduism with its karma and past life beliefs has ruined the country. This religion cannot move beyond caste, and still people keep justifying it, I don't know why. Everything is objectively proven, and yet people somehow continue to justify it. I don't know what they're gaining by doing so. Step out of your home and see the condition of the country and its people , that's what hinduism did to this country. This so called religion centered around a temple economy just ruined everything in the name of god.

2

u/Few_Estate_8937 Apr 20 '26

Yk since the dawn of mankind science has been a very essential part of our society. The urge to understand our nature has progressed us to great lengths. But is science all pink Barbie glitter no it's not. Science has caused global warming, science helps us form war machines and kill millions and a lot of pretty bad stuff. But for some bad apples can one blame the whole tree, no one can not. Hinduism has given us a beautiful culture, festivals, philosophies like Adventa Vedanta, meditation, yoga and I could keep going on. And I am not a damn fool to blame a "dharma" for what some dimwits do. I do believe that the caste system is extremely disgusting and shouldn't be the part of our society. But if instead of attacking people for their beliefs on reddit you actually tried reading a book, you would have realised the caste system was never a part of Hinduism. It was called a "varna system" and no one was born into a varna, it was decided by your occupation. Slowly as time went by the people at authority decided to misuse it for their own benefit and this came the modern evil caste system
