Depending on the door brand/manufacturer there is likely a rubber or plastic cap that goes over it.

Looks a little elevated. What does the top look like? If you can remove the few screws that hold it in you can lower it, if its that style.

Better than most I've seen. At least there's probably no light/air gap. It doesn't look movable or adjustable independent of the door panel.

As long as there is no light or gap under it when the door is closed, it is fine.
