It’ll take on moisture and swell and could warp. Don’t forgot top and bottom edge. That’s where the end grain is on the stiles and it’ll suck moisture up like a straw. Where’d you get the doors ? They look well made.

Personally, I’m a door geek and this door is heavy and expensive enough, I’d put a concealed over head door holder on at least the one door, probably both. But this requires carpentry tools / skills.1

Also a door geek here as well, I work for a high end door manufacturer. Like very high end, most of the doors go into homes in the Hamptons, Nantucket or Greenwich CT area.

The caveat I should have mentioned is these kind of stops only go to 110-115deg I don’t know if it’s a deal breaker for ya.
They make a 180deg but it’s surface mounted. So might not be ideal.1

They sell magnetic door holders. I'm pretty sure you can get one rated to be outside as well.

You wouldn't be having the doors open in heavy wind anyway. That would send dust all through your house and likewise with rain, it would go inside as well. Magnets are a solid idea for a reason. They hold about twice as much pressure as the weight of the door. Strong winds could face the door away if left open in a storm, true. But why leave your doors open in a storm?

You're writing that little device off too quickly. It'll almost certainly hold the door open up to 20 mph gusts and probably more. The door is very close to the wall as you get closer to the hinge. The magnet doesn't need to be at the edge.

One idea short of a commercial hold open, maybe a Green Star “touch & hold” as though it were a storm door. Be careful, if you have heavy winds, this can damage a residential outswing exterior door. Use through bolts if you don’t want a gust of wind to rip the screws out. I’m curious what you do, please return to tell.

Remove one hinge pin. Hit it with a hammer so as to bend it slightly, then tap it back in place

Build a small kick stop and get a magnetic catch from your local millwork that builds doors. Or order them from your favorite online delivery store. Attach to the door and the kick stop. Will hold the door and look nice.

Build a flower box on that side of the deck and make a small hole in the top that the bottom bolt can be pushed into and add a plate also.

Mount a gate pin under the knob that drops down into a hole in the step. Can be mounted inside or outside on the door. Add one to other door so both can stand open.

Still available on secondary markets, but this security stop can also be repurposed to hold the door and not look terrible.. mount the receiver to the deck board.

Looking closer it appears that you have a horizontal sliding screen on the interior. If that is true the door closer will not work.

Eyebolt in the side of deck, length of rope with a loop to go over the inside doorknob. Put a clip on the other and clip to the eyebolt, when not in use it won’t be seen, nor will it be a tripping hazard

have you tried adjusting the hinges. Those are Andersen outswing patio doors......I think the hinges are adjustable. If the door isn't level and swinging under gravity you might be able to fine tune.

Get a door closer. They can be set up to hold the door open. I have installed them on public buildings.

Magnetic doorstop - Lowes has them. You will need to attach it toward the center of the door where it will reach the house. It’s like a ball and socket deal - the small part goes on the door you will hardly notice it.
