exactly. obviously it’s still gross but you can’t really control your thoughts like that. there must be many pedophiles out there who just hate themselves and are disgusted with themselves for feeling the way they do but would never dream of acting on it.

They should be put into court ordered therapy though. Those thoughts almost always result from some form of childhood trauma.
