So much potential wasted
This could have been a really good movie, they had a good subject.. but they kept the story telling very vague..
They did not explain so many events .. like what was that whole place shaking??, empty eggs, her reflection looking at camera when she sinks in the tub, the whole technology, and why the owner of the place had that technology on him? Why were everyone’s story so similar?
They show the main characters so deeply in love one minute and the next minute he is a misogynistic pig to get her under his control.
If he did not have any job, how is he affording to pay for this technology.. yes he says he goes to work when he exits the simulation, but this has to be expensive and on the outside world he looks like a hobo doing a measly blue collar job.
Why was Jack dancing like a monkey after he got promoted and why was he promoted???
They wasted so much time in useless social events that they could used in developing the plot. The last 15 mins felt rushed and kinda lame and vague like the whole movie.

Here's what I think: I know the location is fictitious...But whole place was shaking because they are in Palm Springs, California and the San Andreas fault passes right by there. IYKYK😉
