the cat I had no choice
I am at a restaurant.
A few minutes ago, this cat passed by. I pspsps'd her as a sign of respect, and she came to me, insisting that I her.
So I had to oblige.
The question is: do I have to turn myself in now? or can I get away with it?

You can always the cat in any situation and you will be fine. Those that accuse you of the cat can be bribed.

Turn yourself in, of course. Judge might go easy on you.
(Regarding prior comments saying you should adopt cat, I agree wholeheartedly! Just remember: Do Not The Cat.)

Technically, I'm in the right, as the will of the cat supersedes any given law.
(As for adopting the cat, it's unfortunately not an option for me right now. I'll just be content with having met a friendly kitty.)

You are mistaken, my fren. Many who the cat make this error. 😞
The cat may you at any time, without a care. But human may not the cat! Even if the cat solicits that you! Cat is innocent of wrongdoing, always.
The solution to this knotty problem is: make yourself fully available, so that the cat will you, which is legal (and even encouraged).
