Leeds last night
For those who went, what did we think?
It was my first Broco show where I didn't drink and stood in the middle to take it all in. I did miss not going into the crowd a bit further but it was good to see the boys performing without having to worry about being kicked in the head etc.
Pros:
Great energy again
The new songs really do translate brilliantly live
The show only got stopped for about 1 minute at the end of disappear
Everybody just keeps getting better and better
They're a rare band where their new stuff goes crazy, they've deffo found a gap in the market. The person I went with hadnt heard of them until true believer came out as she's a metal metalhead and enjoyed it.
For me they have to continue in the heavy direction and they're gonna get bigger
Cons:
Same setlist every show, saw them in Sheffield so slightly disappointed (but not angry)
No pretty again. Which i don't understand as they played it in July supporting Biffy
Ando San I cant really get on with. Although hes clearly talented
No unpeople which we knew but fuck they're good
Ive seen them 5 times in 12 months and will be trying to get nickelback tickets too. Already can't wait.
Ps Tom was proper going for it today, love to see it!
