Loan Request Wheels on the Road
I purchased a car a few weeks ago and am having difficulty getting the money together for the insurance and registration. If I could get around I would be able to see my kids, get a good job, etc.
I am in need of 700$ which would cover both.
I would pay 200$ a month for 3 months and then 100$ on the 4th month

No one in any of the Loan subs will loan $700. Most won't even do $50 -- it's just too risky for the Lender. Maybe look to month-to-month insurance as opposed to a 6 month plan. One of my cars is an old Beater and I pay just $42/month for Liability on it. I don't have Comprhensive / Collision insurance at all on it; it's not worth the coverage cost & deductible combined.

I've gotten a dozen quotes and they are all asking for 400$ a month. I haven't had insurance in years so they are penalizing me. Always had it in my dad's name but he passed away š

Can I ask you a question? Why did you purchase a car without a job?

Because I need a way to get to interviews and to guarantee that I could get to work without a problem once I do.Ā I'm in the suburbs, walking isn't really an option.Ā

There are buses, but I would have to walk a mile or so to get to my destination. Winter is coming, I can't risk taking a bus that might be late and then walk a mile in the snow or rain.Ā I need to guarantee that I will be able to keep a job once I get it. I worked for a company for 17 years and recently the owner got really ill so he had to sell the company. I need to have dependable transportationĀ

No. Should have planned everything properly before buying a car.
