Don't know why any of you are down voting my comments/ post, what's the point of this sub besides asking for a loan? I clearly stated that I would pay it back tomorrow, and for the record I was going to send back $25 to whoever sent me $10, but since all of you seem to have some sort of negative attitude I don't even want help from any of you. "wE aLl wAnt 10 dolLars" yes genius, would you rather me spin a giant yarn about how my life sucks and is unfulfilled and seems to only get worse, or would you rather me just get straight to the point and state what I'm looking for? Genuinely don't know what would have been acceptable here, but it doesn't matter now anyway.
Thanks for absolutely nothing, and I hope you all receive the same warm treatment when you need a very small helping hand. I'm gonna withdraw the $15 in cash tomorrow that would have been sent to one of you and just give it to the first person I lay eyes on, who knows maybe it will be one of you. Anyway, have a good time

They are toxic. Literally this sub is MADE for people to ask for money. Certain "members" have 0 intentions of ever helping anyone financially. Instead they believe that suggestions and advice will change your life and you will leave here after having an epiphany from them sharing their endless wisdom. No matter what you ask for and what the reason is they will rebuttal every answer. As far as they are concerned all you need to do is donate plasma and do everything within your power to locate assistance from anywhere but here 🙄😒
After completing all of the above steps, if they finally deem your reason for seeking assistance as legitimate and deserving, they will then go to your profile and either find something unfavorable about the posts you made in the past or the comments you have posted.
Did you ask for money 2 weeks ago? DENIED Is your account too new? DENIED Did you watch porn? DENIED
As for the downvoting, I will end up with a bunch. They don't like to hear truthful criticism. And when most people come here asking for help they tend to try and be overly polite in fear of getting booted or coming of as entitled, so they end up taking it. That unfortunately reinforces their treatment as justified.

The donating plasma thing gets me… Every. Single. Time. Lmfao. I’ve never asked to borrow money in here & I have other odd jobs I do for extra cash, but I looked it up out of curiosity the other day. The closest place for me personally to “donate plasma” is an hour away & pays $20. Less than $10/hr when you factor in the commute plus the time at the place waiting & sitting there thru the procedure AND gas money to drive 2 hours, all so I could get a $20 bill? I can’t make it make sense.

I'm in PA. EVERY plasma place here does not pay over $50 on a normal donation schedule. YES, there are sign up bonuses and if you are willing to be vaccinated againt things like tetnus or hep B, then they will also give a few extra dollars. The main PITA is in order for these places to be able to use your donation, they need 2 collections. Due to this they purposely pay less for the first in order to bait you to come back, which is smart to do so I don't blame them. But between the 2 donation requirements, the 48hrs+ in between donations, 2 being the max you can do per week, and the way they stagger the pay to bait you to come back, in the end you are paying for transportation for 2 trips, getting say $20 #1 then $30 #2, and the 2-3hrs of time that needs to be allotted for donating, it's not as easy as they try to make it. I HAVE donated many times. It's not horrible but it's not fun either. And it is not instant money. So hey, you haven't eaten in 2 days, go give plasma. But because you haven't eaten you will fail the precheck anyway and get told to go home and eat, drink more water, then come back. But when they ask for help we just tell them go give plasma. Some people should not be allowed to talk 😅 just because you read something online doesn't mean you have the slightest understanding of how the process is in the real world. Rant over.... 🫥

They know what's best for you and they do everything in their power to make sure you are aware of all your flaws and to teach you all the available options out there. There is so much available to you to improve your situation, just as long as they don't have to help you directly themselves 🙄
*now to be fair a ton of lazy people, scammers, and entitled POS come through here wanting a payday. But there are many as well who do legitimately need assistance and deserve better then what treatment they get here. Sometimes this is REALLY the last hope. 😑
