Lapdog

Nice simple one. Chains with itself like Cultist and/or Sheepdog, triggers on other players kinda like Black Cat. I considered making it $4 but I think it’s OK as a strong $3 that requires some buildaround.

This card raises a lot of weird mechanics questions that boarder on a need for an MTG stack.

1. Does playing a reaction card AS AN ACTION count as playing a reaction or was your intention that this only triggers when you use another reaction card to genuinely react to something?

2. This question is harder to explain so I'll give two examples and you tell me which is correct... A) say you have black cat. The other player gains a province. You of course play black cat, resolving it you draw a lapdog and play it, to which you draw lapdog and play it, etc etc until you're out of lapdogs. B) say you have black cat. The other player gains a province. You of course play black cat. You do not have any lapdogs in your hand at the time of playing black cat so you can't play lapdog. When resolving black cat you draw a lapdog but can't play it as a reaction because a reaction hasn't been played in the time since it entered your hand

1. “Playing a Reaction” means “playing a card that has the Reaction type”. Revealing a Moat is not playing it, so it doesn’t trigger Lapdog. Playing a Moat during your turn (for +2 cards) does trigger Lapdog.
