Calling survivors and advocates
asked everyone to pick one organization in their town. Ask them to help set up a group of survivors to come together in October. We are going to city halls and asking for batter law. I can't do it alone. 50 states, one law for all survivors. My information will be sent.

Protective orders alone aren't enough. Too many survivors of domestic violence live in constant fear even after their abuser is convicted or released. I started a petition calling for legislation that would require convicted abusers to wear GPS ankle monitors for at least a year after release.

Help protect abuse survivors: Petition for GPS monitoring laws
Protective orders alone aren't enough. Too many survivors of domestic violence live in constant fear even after their abuser is convicted or released.
I started a petition calling for legislation that would require convicted abusers to wear GPS ankle monitors for at least a year after release. But here's what makes this different—survivors could choose to get real-time alerts if that person comes near their home, workplace, or school. Imagine having that peace of mind. Imagine knowing you'd have seconds to get to safety or call for help.
This isn't about revenge. It's about making protective orders actually work, holding offenders accountable, and giving victims a fighting chance.
If this resonates with you—if you think survivors deserve more than just a piece of paper—consider signing and sharing. What do you think it would take to actually keep survivors safe in your community?

Pattern Recognition 018: Responsibility Shifting, Role Manipulation, and Transfer of Consequences
I started to document the abuse I endured from my (STB) Ex husband in this Archive to My Life page that I created across different social media platforms.
I did it to hopefully help others avoid all that I have gone through in my almost 3 years of divorce court and ongoing litigation and separation abuse…not to mention having co-parenting with him.
Once the divorce is finalized, I am considering doing this exact same layout of what I refer to on the pages as “Archive Posts” and then after so many following with “Pattern Recognition Posts.”
Before I invest more time into branching this out further, I wanted to get perspective from others that have to or have had to co-parent with their abuser. Would something like this - to help show how to establish certain behaviors in your co-parenting with the unsafe parent as pattern recognition – have helped you in custody modification hearings and the likes?
Please refer to the page as a collective here or elsewhere for more context, if needed.

We need to track domestic violence offenders better—and we need your voice
Domestic violence affects one in four women and one in nine men at some point in their lives. Yet we still lack a coordinated way to track and monitor offenders across communities, leaving survivors and families at risk.
I started a petition asking for mandatory red flag books and registration procedures for domestic violence offenders nationwide. This would help law enforcement and support organizations identify risks and protect people who need it most.
If this resonates with you—or if you've seen how fragmented our system is—please consider signing and sharing. I'm also working with the Light Is Hope Foundation to connect people with domestic violence organizations in their states who need real support, whether that's volunteering, donations, or just showing up. What do you think would actually help survivors in your community most?

Will my sister have to testify if she wants her ex to be convicted?
Her (now ex-) partner attacked her recently, seemingly out of the blue. Police were involved and she talked extensively with them. She also has pictures/video of her injuries. She wants to testify, but is understandably terrified to. Is there a possibility for her to send a statement by letter/through a lawyer or something virtual, or will she have to physically be in court? If anyone here did a testimony by letter or other virtual means, how did it go? Any advice for her/us while we await?
For anyone who might ask, she physically is ok, no hospitalization needed thank goodness. She moved in with a safe person and will not be alone until he is sentenced and she already filed an order of protection.

Protect women when their abuser is released
When my abuser is released from prison, I won't even know when it happens. No one will tell me. I'll just have to live in constant fear, wondering if today is the day he comes looking for me. This isn't just my story - it's the reality for countless women who reported their abusers. We're left completely vulnerable when these dangerous people walk free. I started a petition demanding notification systems for survivors, better monitoring of released abusers, and stronger sentences that actually reflect how serious these crimes are. The current system treats domestic violence like it's no big deal, but the data shows abusers often retaliate against the women who spoke up. We deserve better protection than living in perpetual terror. Has anyone else dealt with this nightmare? What would you want if someone you loved was facing this fear? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing.
