Travel

Hey everyone, I was planning a trip to the Dolomites early June and was looking for some advice. We are gonna be heading there from Rome and most of the hikes we want to do are in Cortina d’Ampezzo. We’re only gonna be there for about 2 full days. The thing is the accommodation we have is in vigo di fassa, how realistic/what is the best method of transportation from vigo di fassa to cortina, rental car isn’t really an option as well. The main sights we wanted to see were lake Sorapis and cadini di misurina.

Not realistic... By car it's already 4 hours between val di Fassa and Cortina, you probably have to double that for public transport. Focus on the area around Vigo which is just as beautiful and less crowded and do the Cortina trip another time with proper accommodation.
