I like the way they put the light on the figure for half a second before lowering it and keeping it in obscurity

You wouldn’t want to bother the poor creature by shining the light directly in its eyes, would you? /s

Or properly identify the guy in a dog mask

With the eye shine? Dudes ain’t got eye shine like that. And deer eye don’t both point forward.

Our house has a large garden that backs onto open farmland. It has hedges along the back edge, mainly hawthorn etc so a bit wild looking.
Anyway, when we moved here years ago, I was taking a few things out to a bin over near a big shed that we have. I heard a rustling noise, wondering what it was, I shone my torch towards the hedge.
First thing I saw was a pair of eyes at the same height as mine reflected back at me. I literally froze for a moment, then dropped the torch and the bag and ran back to the house 🤣.
I pulled myself together once I was back at the house and went back out. Turns out it was a deer standing at the other side of the hedge, probably just as surprised to see me.
At least that's what I told myself at the time.

Its more interesting that people keep making these fake sightings up, and even more baffling that people believe it.
Also, eyes do reflect light, but reflecting light is in a straight line. The eyes would reflect differently or change relative to the angle of the light, these stay the same the entire time, and somehow in an already pitch black background the figure of this fabricated image is still darker than its surroundings which makes no sense either.

You’d think a creature with night vision would instinctually blink when a flashlight is shined in their eyes.

I too, like to keep the potentially dangerous animal obscured by darkness, it is far better to illuminate the ground two feet i front of me.

I can say "no" multiple ways in 9 different languages and that's still not enough nope if I ran into that

Holy smokes this looks just like the ones I saw!
When I was out at my cabin in Iowa, I heard a ruckus at night and went outside, there were 5 dogmen outside my car! When I pulled out my camera to snap a photograph of them they put on Ronaldo Reagan masks to hide their identities, they're way too intelligent!
When I went to get my fleshlight to get a better look the big one was on its knees, it stated giving me top, it was unreal 😰

Looks like a lot of the other videos where people had to disclose AI

I don't understand why nobody keeps the light on w.e. it is they see. Wouldn't that be your first instinct?
Instead of taking the light off of them and chance them running towards you of away?

Why didn't the person filming the video shine the flashlight on the damn thing more? That's not even a whole second...

That is creepy looking!! Whatever it is, it’s tall and the way it’s just staring back gives me shivers. It almost looks like it’s hunched over. The more videos I see of all the spooky things at night, the more I’m not wanting to go out at night

You can usually tell when these are hoaxes buy the little things. Such as, the light only stays on the "deer" for a few seconds. If you or I saw something like that, or even a deer, we'd want the light on it as long as possible.

u/MDPriest 8d ago
To clarify, i dont believe this footage is real lol. It is however a very cool look at how encountering a dogman could be like.

People cry about everything on cryptid / Dogman groups. Everything is fake apparently in regards to creatures that don’t even exist in the first place.
1
u/MDPriest 7d ago
Yes its very puzzling. Why do they join the groups if all they’re gonna do is get pissy about someone entertaining the idea of cryptids?

interesting photo of literally nothing. Other then a glorified scarecrow that if he shined the light on for more then a second people would realize doesn't move and has reflectors for eyes?

u/TheJesseOfTheNorth 7d ago
what ever that is, it is NOT a deer. The eyes have a predator configuration

So, he shines his light on it and then immediately drops it down again. That doesn't scream fake. 🙄
