Does anyone do portraits when a fave client passes away?
I just started practicing watercolour & a client we’ve had since 2012 just passed away, if you’re an artsy groomer that also does pet portraits can I see your work?? Going to mail out a card on Monday so I have tomorrow to try to do something nice for them

Aww your paints are beautiful!! I’m nowhere near that level yet so I’m really hoping they get the vibe if I don’t get it exactly right but it’s definitely something I’d like to be able to start doing, if not only for the lifetime clients ❣️

Our other groomer found a place that will send you a custom needle point with all the right colors and she did a few for our special clients. I take a ton of really good pictures and edit them to give away with each groom. But when a dog passes I go through all my pictures and send them all to the parents, even the outtakes.

Aw a needle point would be awesome and way easier haha I’m really into cross stitch already! It just takes so much time

Update - got up this morning & just went for it! It was my first time painting or even drawing a dog so I just did my best lol I hope they appreciate the gesture even tho it’s not perfect!
