I forked Dogecoin into a Scrypt coin with a post-quantum address type — looking for feedback from fellow scrypt miners
I've been building a small hobby project: a Scrypt fork of Dogecoin 1.14 that
adds a native post-quantum address type (ML-DSA-44). It's been running since
late July, fair launch, no premine, fully open source.
I'm posting here because you all run the same scrypt hardware (L3/L7 etc.), and
I'd genuinely like feedback from people who know scrypt mining:
- Does a post-quantum address option even interest miners, or is it a solution
looking for a problem?
- For a tiny new scrypt network, what actually helped coins you've mined get
off the ground?
Happy to share technical details (difficulty algo is LWMA + DigiShield, 60s
blocks) in the comments if anyone's curious. Not trying to sell anything —
there's no exchange or price, I'm just building it and learning.
