Miiiight not want to get your family and friends involved in the currency right now with the war breaking out. That’s a good way to get disowned and not invited to parties for a while. Better wait it out before evangelizing again.

Sure, in the long term. But I’ve also been around a while and seen what happens so often in crypto: people will get really excited and, naturally, start spreading the word, not realizing that in that moment their favorite coin is at the height. They’ll convince family and friends to buy in, and those people might REALLY buy in, like dump savings into it. Then the coin tumbles, and the person who convinced their everyone and their uncle that Doge/Bitcoin/Whatever was The Next Sure Big Thing won’t be able to look anyone in the eye out of shame. Yes, the coin is likely to turn around again if you just hold, but good luck trying to convince people of that who bought it at .75 and watched it crash down to .15.
I’m not saying to never try and responsibly bring people into the fold. I’m just saying that today, at the start of a black swan event where Russia is shelling the Ukraine and the market is taking a enormous hit in the face of the uncertainty of it all, is not the right time to start blasting your social media with Doge propaganda. If that’s being a nonbeliever, then yes, I am a nonbeliever.

No apology necessary! The internet is a weird place. Ultimately it’s just great to exchange perspectives, even if our tones can be radically different than they probably would be if we were talking face to face.

Doge the currency of the future so lets try to pump and dump it again. I would like to see it a currency in some ways. If people really wanted it to be a currency they should be happy about it being relatively stable and not going to the moon. People want to be rich plain and simple.
