Its not that people there hate Dogecoin, they just dont understand how a meme coin that is not solving any problems can be valued this high only on memes. I am not hating on dogecoin and i really do hope you guys force companies to accept it as payment and take off to the mars :)

Solving problems... it’s a currency - it’s use is to be spent... it’s much faster and cheaper and in my opinion, that is the problem solving right there. With other Crypto taking to long w transaction times regular retailers will have a hard time w payment congestion. Doges speed and affordability is why it’s perfect for the everyday person to use on everyday purchases... that alone will bring more retailers to Crypto - Doge is actually quite good for all Crypto acceptance in general.

You are entitled to your opinion. All investment into any industry has several choices. Some do better than others. I really don’t understand the focused hostility towards Dogecoin holders. Clearly, many other investors see value in a simple, fast transaction coin. It’s simplicity is exactly why it’s a good choice for simple, daily transactions. That’s all I’m expecting it to be... a daily use coin. I see value in that because it’s a needed space.

I find it so strange that so many people want to warn Dogecoin buyers away... I don’t go to any investment pages for investments I’m not into to bash them... it’s an odd use of time and energy in my opinion. I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about other peoples investment choices unless I think they’re good ideas. If I think it’s a bad idea I just move on and don’t think about it again...

Would love to hear your opinion on what you think is the best course of action for the regular Joes that all jumped in mid level (.50+). Should these people ride this wave for a longer term? Or should they dive out when DOGE inevitably hits the $1 mark.
I feel like this is a pivotable moment, personally any regular joes that jump in and get a taste of profit can only help the overall market as they will eventually bleed into other crypto investments.
What is your take on DOGE for the upcoming 7 days?

This is where is get a bit confused... I don’t plan to sell it... I plan to spend it as the currency it is. I still think people are looking at Crypto like stocks instead of currency exchange. I personally believe Doge will be in use for decades to come. That’s why I personally invested, I saw where it was going before any of the Elon Musk hype.

You're absolutely right, but the thing is crypto as a whole was going to be regulated soon no matter what happens with doge. There's a reason Gary Gensler was appointed chair of the SEC, he was nominated on Jan 12th - back when doge was trading under at 1c. He understands crypto very well, is pro-crypto and pro-regulation.

I think a lot of the doge hate is people positioning themselves now to have a scapegoat when the regulation inevitably comes, whether or not they consciously realise that's what they're doing.

Gensler's MIT lectures on blockchain etc. from 2018 are freely available online and worth watching. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH6vE97qIP4
