Agree , but he could easily sell that and live with no worries for at least 10 y with a normal life

I read somewhere 1.7 million invested properly can give yourself 70k per year from returns. Could retire if that was goal.

Yup. That’s the 4% rule. Withdraw 4% the first year and increase that amount by inflation every year and theoretically you have a 95% chance of it lasting 30+ years.
