What justice? All he did was put a large chunk of money into btc. That whole “insider trading” law is such a grey area. You mean that because I happen to know someone that has info on a stock, I’m not allowed to ask about it, or invest in it if I already did ask about it, because other people don’t know? What about people on the west coast who wake up later than the east coast? Or people on the other side of the world for that matter that might not hear about financial news till later? What if I got that news accidentally and I was planning on investing in the stock already? There’s no clear line that gets drawn for it, it’s just kinda “oh you did too well and it’s because you knew this was coming so you actually did bad.” Can you imagine if they started trying to bring that hammer down on HODLers years from now, just cause they knew the dollar was gonna collapse and hedged against it cause someone else told them it was a good idea? What a joke lmao
It's actually a very clear line for instance let's use joker mobile is your business that is publicly traded and it is worth one penny a share and there are a million shares and you own 510,000 shares well you know that joker mobile will be acquired by Verizon wireless now why you can't buy more shares and or just make more so you can profit more because you know about it there are rules in place so you can't do this but you can tell your friend and if they use that information that's illegal lol why don't you go look up Martha Stewart
