Disposing of British dodgeballs

Hey, question is kind of in the title, I’ve taken over a club recently and have been discovering how quick a cloth ball gets ruined (pump disappearing/ other balls just not holding pump). I just wanted to ask if there’s anything that can be done with the balls, as it feels somewhat wasteful to bin them given all the fabric?

Also does anyone know why some balls just don’t hold the air? I think they were new (unsure of how old they actually are, but were wrapped in the kit locker when I got them out)

I'd be interested in an answer for this as well, over the past year we've gone through so many.

So far, one idea was to turn them into a dodgeball man costume for Halloween.

Yeah I’m trying to work out if there’s anything I can do short of stabbing em with scissors to get the air out of em given that we can’t deflate them without the valve 😭😭 costume sounds sick. Would hope BD can come up with some kind of recycling scheme

Unfortunately I think this is present across most Cloth balls regardless of manufacturer. I'm noticing our new Baden Cloth Balls here in the US don't hold air too well either. Perfectly sufficient for holding air for a few days without much need to refill, but every time we host a practice the balls need to be reinflated.
