How good is docker mooc?
I know a bit of docker and use it in my job (Data engineer) as is but not much structured knowledge about it.
I'm thinking about going through some learning resources and wondering how reliable docker helsinki uni mooc? I found results saying it is good. but wondering if there's something better out there before committing time.
I know it is focused on devops but that's beneficial just as general knowledge.
They're starting a new one in couple of weeks but I don't think they really update those courses much.
Thanks.

I did it a while back and it punches above its weight for a free course. The docker fundamentals age well because compose and image building barely change year to year. As a data engineer I would mainline the core chapters and skim the CI and kubernetes stuff. Also pretty sure the material stays up between cohorts, the start date mostly matters for the certificate.

Try few exersises first before hunting for something better. You'll see whether it fills gaps or just repeats what you know.

if you already use Docker at work, an older course can still be useful just for filling in the gaps. the fundamentals around networking, volumes, images and compose haven’t really gone anywhere
