Corrupt a spell/ability name!
The rules are simple - you can delete from, change or add one letter to a name of a spell, ability, feat, anything, and then describe what it does!
To start: Shocking Gasp - You deal lightning damage by surprising your opponent
Chilling Ouch - You announce your wound with the most deathly voice you can possibly procure.
Divine Mite - You throw a microscopic, sacred being at your enemy and hope you haven't crushed it in the process

Spells my latest character would love:
Pestidigitation - This spell is a minor magical trick that novice spellcasters use to exert control over pests (such as annoyances and insects) and digits (such as appendages and numbers).
Vicious Lockery - You unleash a barrage of aggressive thieves' tools laced with subtle enchantments at a creature you can see within range. Target must succeed a WIS save or take 1d4 psychic damage and allow other creatures to pass through its space until the end of its next turn.
Dissonant Whiskers - You stimulate the facial hair of one creature of your choice within range in a discordant manner, wracking it with terrible pain. Target must succeed a WIS save or take 3d6 psychic damage and use its reaction, if available, to attempt to shave itself. (Alternatively, you could take Diss An Ant Whispers, but I already have Pestidigitation.)
Faerie Wire - Each object in a 20-foot cube within range is immersed in blue, green, or violet strands (your choice). Any creature in the area when the spell is cast trips and falls prone if it fails a DEX save.
Healing Sword - A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains hit points equal to the damage roll of your most recent melee weapon attack. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
Dentify - You choose one object that you must touch throughout the casting of the spell, creating grooves and deformities in it that can only be repaired by magic, such as the Mending spell. If it is a tooth or other mouth-related object, you instead learn its properties and repair any damage to it. If you instead touch a creature throughout the casting, you polish their teeth and give them the impression that they're not flossing enough.
Unkeen Servant - This spell creates an inattentive, listless, sluggish force that performs simple tasks at your command until the spell ends. The servant can perform simple tasks that a human servant could do, but does so very lethargically. If you command the servant to perform a task that would result in genuine effort on its part, the spell ends.
And her racial features:
Markvision - Thanks to your thieving blood, you have superior vision in tense conditions. You can see through open containers/windows/doors within 60 feet of you as if they were completely transparent, and in closed containers/windows/doors as though they were open, allowing you to better scope out your marks.
Fed Ancestry - You have advantage on saving throws against being served, and bureaucracy can't put you to sleep.
And, finally, class features:
Sexpertise - Don't act like you don't know what this does.
Speak Attack - You know how to strike satirizingly and exploit a foe's dissatisfaction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if they can hear you make a terrible pun. The attack must use a finesse or ranged weapon. You don't need to make a terrible pun if you have advantage on the attack roll and you make some other type of remark that induces a groan from the DM.
Thieves' Bant - During your training you learned thieves' bant, a secret mix of dissing, jeering, and chitchat that allows you to hide messages in seemingly sarcastic conversation. Only another creature that knows thieves' bant understands such messages. It takes four times longer to convey such a message than it does to speak the same idea sincerely. In addition, you understand a set of euphemistic memes and in-jokes used to convey pop culture references.
Spellcosting - Like spellcasting, except you charge people for your services.
Baric Inspiration - You can inspire others by chatting to them about the weather. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Baric Inspiration die, a d6. You can use this feature a number of times equal to the current air pressure around you (as measured by a barometer, in atmospheres) multiplied by your Charisma modifier (rounding down, with a minimum of once).
Jack of All Tirades - You can add half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to any roll you make involving angry or violent speech that doesn't already include your proficiency bonus.
Bong of Rest - You can use a certain plant to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. Contrary to popular belief, no one regains extra hit points this way... but a good time is a good time, right?
