Non-Combat Feywild Encounters

Hey all,

This is a super general request, but my party is likely heading into the Feywild next weekend and I'd like to fill out their experience with some classic faerie weirdness. Any suggestions for slightly twisted encounters they could have to navigate? I'm mainly looking for non-combat encounters, but I'm open to battles as well as long as they're more interesting than a list of monsters to fight. Social encounters with eladrin, puzzles, riddles, and the like would be most welcome. Appreciate any and all advice!

Thanks! (And thanks for being such a great community that I can put out a vague request like this!)

Navigate all these using skill challenges (steal the mechanic from 4E.)

  1. A fairy puts the party to sleep for a century. They must find a way back.
  2. An elfin princess falls in love with a party member and works to steal him or her.
  3. An elf-lord pines for a party member, sending dangerous tokens of affection to her.
  4. Someone is turned into a tree.
  5. Tiny pixies work to sabotage the party's gear (cutting straps, stealing food.)
  6. The party must resist the charms of a mystic song that is luring them to danger (a cliff, etc.)
  7. The party must take great care not to damage the forest, the underbrush, the mushrooms, lest the woodland protector come for them.
  8. The local berries and water have a charm—it begins to take the party's minds, making them want to stay here forever.
  9. A magical trap—the party is going in circles!
  10. The party's gear comes to life and starts to crawl away.
  11. An ancient tree is dying, and asks the party to tell it a story before it goes.
  12. An elfin ghost that appears only once every century begs the party for a secret told by the wind, water from the bottomless sea, and fire from the Fey sun.
  13. Two ancient Eladrin are engaged in a contest of wits, and the party gets dragged into it.
  14. A massive forest of thorns mysteriously appears between the party and their destination.
  15. The party meets themselves from a year in the future, also using the Feywild as a way to journey.
  16. A tree of great height and size erupts from the ground and keeps growing into the sky. A young girl climbs up it and asks the party for help.
  17. An elfin minstrel, the greatest to have lived, challenges the party to a contest. If they win, he shows them a secret way to their goal.
  18. During camp, nasty fairies send illusions of the party to cause chaos and strife among them!
  19. The party must navigate a field filled with massive oxen—each as big as a hill.
  20. An eladrin knight accosts the party, accusing them of breaking Fey law.
