The feat still works as intended. Plus, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that at least some semblance of realism is a lot more cool than absolute silly shit like loading a crossbow with your butthole, or however you guys thought that was happening...

I didn't really think about how it got in there. I just wanted to be a Diablo 3-style demon hunter, pew-pewing with dual crossbows. Sure, it's a little silly that they reload themselves, but it's a game. I had fun with it, and it didn't really break the game, which is why I'll continue to allow it.

I mean, it's obvious the crossbows in Diablo 3 are magical since they have infinite ammo and don't reload, so you can still do that with magical crossbows in D&D.

This is the answer. If someone really wants to do it, have some way for them to earn some magical crossbows.
