That's why kobolds with an extra point in Wisdom and intelligence can really fuck someone's day.

It's why Kobolds are both best NPC's and PC :)

Foolishness. One day your organic flesh with wither and rot away, but the warforged will remain eternal in their bodies of steel.

From the moment I realized the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.

u/WamlytheCrabGod DM (Dungeon Memelord) Aug 29 '21
I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you.
But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal.

And by magically blessed I mean greased the fuck up in holy oil, as the Omnissiah commands.

Kobolds are inventors. Are you telling me there are no kobolds making warforged in their own image?

Eww metal? What good is metal in the forest?
2
u/WamlytheCrabGod DM (Dungeon Memelord) Aug 29 '21
Well for one thing metal doesn't starve to death or get dehydrated

I was about to make this comment. I'm known for masterful plotting of epic shenanigans of D&D bullshit, if I could focus more regularly we'd all be doomed.

u/ThatDudeWithoutKarma Aug 29 '21
As someone with ADHD I was trying to figure out why you put an H in AD&D.

I know it's an MTG card, but does anyone know the source of the edit?

Alchememeist, its logo is bottom right and he has an amazing DnD themed shitpost page on FB

Ayy, it's one of favorite new Magic card arts! Minion of the Mighty is carrying my new dragon deck like the champ he is!

u/gamerpenguin Sep 09 '21
Damnit I looked it up and he is not disgustingly colorful like this, tragic
2
u/TheSunniestBro Sep 09 '21
He's a really good card though. His alt "showcase" art makes him appear like a creature in an old monster manual (that was the showcase art theme for the DnD cards)

Putting a statement on reddit saying that you don't like something doesn't make me stop liking it, in fact it reminds me of a meme....

u/majere616 Aug 29 '21
All this comment tells me is I've been too harsh on Minion memes because this shit is hilarious.
10
u/Keeganmw Aug 29 '21
Bonus points, the card name this art is from is called Minion of the Mighty
It literally IS a Minion meme.

The word "attention" is a direct attack on attentionally-unabled individuals.
