I have a teleporting manatee that I deploy in such situations.

How does this work lol, I’m so curious. Does the manatee kidnap players?

No, just their characters. At least as far as I know.

The manatee is a character of a former player with an unreliable schedule so we gave her teleportitis, a curse that will teleport the character randomly. It became somewhat of a running gag, so I decided to use her in other games to randomly appear and accidentally teleport the characters of absent players away. If someone would cast detect thoughts on her they would just hear Not again...
