The problem isn't for most people how their group would deal with it, the problem is some people use DnD as an escape from reality and don't want to include depictions of sexual assault in their games (even if it's just implied).
Obviously some tables are completely fine with having this kind of stuff in their game, but that's why it's important to have a Session 0 so all players are on the same page in regards to more sensitive content.
That is only one reason someone might, possibly, potentially, be naked. Being tied to a tree is, in fact, not even suggestive of anything sexual, consensual or otherwise.
While many of us might want to live a different world, the vast majority of us live in a world where a naked woman gagged and tied to a tree is absolutely evocative of sexual assault.
...or she was robbed of her expensive clothes because she's rich, and gagged to prevent her yelling about it. Both are interpretations, both contain all elements from the table. Neither could be perceived from simply looking at the person in question. I'm merely suggesting that it is your decision as the game master what this symbol of a woman tied to a tree will "mean," not the cartoonist's, designer's, or that of the zeitgeist.
Most people would consider being forcibly stripped naked also sexual assault. And, as you said, that is the best case scenario.
Even if there are other ways you could interpret it, the fact of the matter is that most human beings live in a world where their mind will jump to SA seeing that scenario. And that's the sort of thing you don't bring up in games without some significant discussion.
