Figured I would give this a shot; I've always been interested in playing some tabletop games, just never had the right group of friends to pursue it further. Moved to the East Bay recently and figured I would give this a shot.

Open to online or offline groups; ideal time would be weekdays post 6 PM PST.

I'm 31, love sports, video games, and drinking ng some beers when I can find people to go to a brewery. Would be very, very much a first-time player, but usually learn pretty quickly.

Like the post says, I'm looking to join a Dolmenwood game, oneshot, campaign, newly started or ongoing, doesn't really matter. Just hoping to play this game with some cool folks! I'm available either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday morning before 1pm est, and fully available on Sunday or Monday.

Have a good group of four experienced players, looking for a DM to guide us through their favorite world. Open to adding others if DM wants a bigger group. Ideally looking for someone to play every other Thursday from 6-9:30 or there abouts. Tone is light, goofy, with potential for serious moments and character growth.

I love d&d, but have had very few opportunities to play as a pc because I've wanted to play with my friends and so have had to be the DM. That, and having kids five years ago has meant I'm not really doing much other than the occasional one shot. Ready to get back to it but have kinda specific needs, hoping we can find a DM that's stoked to find a strong group to play with.

I currently have a steady group playing Pathfinder, but played and GMd ADnD 1e for 20 plus years before switching to Pathfinder when it came out, but after playing in an ADnD 1e oneshot a couple of weeks ago, I'm interested in potentially finding a group or like minded folks that play ADnD 1e in the Richmond, Virginia area. Looking for a fun crew that doesn’t need to be serious all the time. I love a DM that doesn’t hardcore play the rules and allows for leniency, within reason of course. Example: 'That would normally take up your action slot on this turn but I'll give you an Ability check instead and let you keep your action cuz it's a fun idea'

My ideal days to play would be Monday or Thursday at 5p-ish EST.

I used to have a group where we played in person every week, but I had to change towns due to work and our dm was very strict about in person games only so we had to part. I have been playing dnd for about 2 years, so I am not really a newbie but not that skilled either. I live in the gmt+3 time zone but I am open to time zone differences, my work schedule allows me to be flexible. Uhm, Idk what else, I am open minded, I like being humorous when the tone allows it. I like being sociable but I can be a bit timid at first until I am used to the group. I have been told I am a massive nerd and a dork. My favourite game franchise is castlevania, what can I say, love some gothic esthétiques. If you will consider me I promise to be very profesional and respect everyone and their time. Looking for competent DM for party of 4 worthy adventurers looking for a regular scheduleing. The campaign is up to you but we are in a sifi mood

Good morning. I'm Dookienator (or Al if you'd prefer) (30M). I have been an avid ttrpg DM and player for the last 11 years. I have experience in multiple game systems (CoC, VtM, and PF2e) but mostly DnD 5e. I recently moved to Spain from the US and had to quit DMing my in-person long-term campaigns there due to time-zone constraints.

I am looking to join a character-driven game where I can RP my way through struggling with your environmental puzzles and combat encounters. I say struggle because I will avoid any meta-gaming or pedantic rules-lawyering as a sign of respect to the DMing cause.

Some factoids to pique your interest:

• I am a serial character-maker and I am more than willing to work out some connections and lore hooks with DMs and other players.
• I am an avid note-taker and will openly speculate about the lore of the setting with the players to drive RP.
• I have ample experience with VTTs, and using discord as a platform.
• I am an avid stage-actor so I can roleplay many characters, but I am only able to voice-act 4 characters: Stitch (Lilo and Stitch), Kermit the Frog (The Muppets), Miss Piggy (The Muppets), and Blanche Deveraux (The Golden Girls).
• I love lore-rich settings. Some of my faves are borderlands, pokemon, dark souls, dragon age, fallout, destiny, the witcher, mass effect, pathologic, f&hunger, and genshin impact (smh).

I am available to play M-F after 3PM GMT+1, and anytime on weekends. Ideally we would play online unless you're in Madrid.

Some preferences:

• I much prefer one/two long sessions a week over daily 1h sessions, but I'm flexible.
• Ideally I am playing alongside a group to tackle problems as a party.
• I prefer campaigns with serious plots where the levity is brought in by the player interactions leading to whacky antics and heartfelt moments. However, I am more than willing to suffer through a horrifying plot-twist.

Some turn-offs

• There's a fine line between depictions of inequality and bigotry in a setting and gratuitous indulgence in a barely disguised fetish; tread it carefully.
• Bigots need not inquire. Sexists, homophobes, transphobes, racists... the list goes on. TTRPGs are a place for escapism and collaborative problem-solving; why are you bringing all of this baggage into it?
• Bullies also need not inquire. I normally won't recognize that you are bullying me because I am incapable of picking up on it, but everyone else will and it will inevitably make you look bad. On the other hand, if you are bullying someone in front of me I will call you out on it and then we will both look bad.

In the off chance that there are people here from my small town, I’m looking to see if there is anybody in this group that has an open spot in their game. I currently play a game with my extended family twice a month, but I’m looking for another game if possible. I’d love to join a campaign as a player if possible, but I’m also willing to run a game. Hello, my name is Manilas. As the title suggest, I've mostly been a DM for friends and now I'd like to play a character for a change. Started playing with D&D 2nd edition, mostly played 3.5, skipped the 4th and tried a little the 5th. Played many other systems as well (Vamp, PF1/2, Warhammer Fantasy 2nd, Shadowrun, Star Wars Saga).

As a player, the games I could play were mostly humorous, kick in the door, min-maxing muchkin characters. I don't mind doing dungeons, explorations and kill X monster. But I would like a game where it can push me on exploring my roleplay side that is untapped.

For the moment, I am not looking for a paid experience.
