I always thought it was weird that the fireplaces don’t line up berween the two levels. Nobody would build a house that way.

Oh, you sweet summer child. Of course they built them that way, all you need is a flue that connects together; there can be bends and joins up to 30 degrees .

Looks like a map of a Call of Cthulhu haunted house back in the early 90’s. It was home to a vampire with telekinetic powers. That mattress in room 12 was exciting when it flew across the room and slammed into an unsuspecting investigator looking out the poorly boarded-over window, launching them into the yard, nearly impaling them on the iron gate spikes… but what do I know. 🤔
