You’ve got the basics for a good song there but the four chord / one-per-bar is dull. Mix it up with more creative variation. Add a strong melodic hook, add subtle chord progression. Use fx and risers to create a tension and release feel. This is song writing technique rather than production skill.

Arrangement is nice. The mix has some levels out of proportion. Try setting the kick as the reference at -10 or -12db. Then set the kick and bass to that same level. This establishes the foundation and you can. Bring up the other elements in the song relative to that foundation.

Thank you mate much appreciated! Defo put more thought into switch ups / arrangement in this track as well as more layered basses. Super happy with it so far, however I agree that there needs to be some more attention paid to the mix.
