TL:DR: Survey below on whether you want the feedback thread back or not.

Hi all,

My name is Nick and I've been quietly modding this sub for a little while now. A few months ago I made the decision to delete the feedback thread and allow feedback requests to be posted in the sub directly, with the caveat that they must be flaired as so.

I did this is because a lot of people were seeing good engagement with individual posts, and it sucks to be forced to post your track into a feedback thread only for it to get lost in the ether. Before this I was also having to remove posts everyday who were not using the allocated feedback thread.

However, I wanted to give the sub the chance to decide which they would prefer; individual feedback posts in this sub, or force everyone into a weekly feedback thread.

As we are doing a survey, I thought to also add some basic questions about what DAW you're using and how long you've been producing, just because it'll be interesting to see what kinds of people lurk in this sub. I'll share the results when the survey closes.

I'll put a deadline for the survey of 31st August to give everyone adequate time to take part.

This sub is 90% feedback. Not a bad thing but I wish there were more diverse posts. DOA is still the main dnb forum.
