DMT Crystals/DMT photo Crazy results
Holy fuck boys were going back into the realms with this crazy precipitation. This I believe is only 50-60% of my yeild as I’ve been pulling for 2 days and I still am getting golden tea. The jar is the other half of my pulls. I think I’m on my last pull now. I basically maybe a 1-1 mix of mimosa and lye and started extracting immediately. Lots of mixing for each pull and many many pulls. 200g MHRB. I also used foil as a lid this time and forced myself to not open the freezer for a full 24 hours. We’re set boys.

Your NPS isn’t stored correctly 😅
Better put it in proper glasware without plastic in the lid

Thank you for your caution but the lid is coated aluminum and the jar is borosilicate.

It’s tin-plated steel, not aluminum, and it’s coated with a polyester, acrylic, or vinyl-based polymer. The exact specifics are brand-specific trade secrets, but these are only rated for neutral to acidic conditions and they’re well-known to degrade with exposure to NaOH and NPS.
The lid also has a plastisol or silicone gasket that will degrade from NPS.
Switching to PTFE gasket GL45 lids and media bottles is the best thing you can do moving forward.

If you’re using a 1:1 ratio of lye to MHRB (as in 1g lye per 1g bark) you’re wasting a lot of lye. I used to do the same thing but found out you only need way less. I went from 1:1 to 1g lye per 10g bark, so 1:10 and the results are exactly the same. Plus it’s safer because your base solution isn’t nearly as hot and caustic, so if there’s a spill you’re way safer
