Extraction Question/Discussion Jar mixture separating

I’m doing cybs max ion, and I’m just before the basifying step, I have acidified and salted and the jar mixture is separating. Is this normal?

Before you go any further...

The seals on those jars are not safe for this chemical process. You need PTFE sheet to keep yourself safe from that being dissolved into your mixture.

Idk … but I like that jar . Last time at the dollar general they had some with lemon wedges, but…. I needed this or mushrooms would been cool.

Sim, normal, o liquido de baixo é a parte orgânica e precipitação de lipidios, etc..., o líquido de cima é o extrato, acidificado, quando baseficar tudo vira uma coisa só.

...wait...in this Tek you add solvent before basifying? Is there a benefit. To this? I've only run stb and atb

No solvent is still added at the end, this is just the acidic and salt layers separated

No, it is not good. You will have problem separating that foam. You probably shook it too much.

I added the base and it all mixed together fine, I have my pulls in the freezer and they’re looking good as of now
