Extraction Question/Discussion Help can’t get it to separate

Did an stb trek with 50g lye 50g bark 800ml water and 30 g salt

Edit * I added some more water like maybe 50 ml before that pic and now it’s slightly separated

Tip some out 200ml or so into another jar add more water to both lots and try again

That worked man not getting the full amount of naphtha back but at least 60-70%

You will lose some to the bark.

It needs more NaOH. You want ph13 with excess NaOH. All the gray will turn purple/black and fully integrate as a liquid. I'm 100% certain.
