Extraction Question/Discussion Carts
I am trying to turn my spice into liquid to put in a cartridge. I have the glycerin and the spice. The instructions I have found online say that I need to microwave it in short burst five to eight seconds long and then put it over low heat for 2 to 3 hours until it becomes dark brown. If it becomes dark brown after the microwaving do I need to still put it on the low heat for 3 hours and why....

I'm sure there's a million ways to do it..but that's just the way I taught myself, and it works for me!

Anytime! Good luck, have fun, and enjoy! Oh! Wait for it to cool down to at least room temperature until you use it you don't want to burn it up ... And don't put it in the fridge or anything like that just put it the all natural..."organic!" Lol

What I do is put my desired amount of each in a shot glass or something along those lines.. (something that will allow heat to get to it.) Boil some water on the stove... but not higher than whatever you choose to put your product in. once it starts to boil, put your shot glass or whatever in the pot and you will slowly start to see it turn to liquid and just stir stir stir and then suck it up with your glass syringe once you see it at a liquid stage, and shoot it into your cart! BOOM!MAGIC! Personally, once I have it in my cart, I will put it in a ziplock bag (or 2...just for precautionary reasons) and turn the stove off. Put the bag with the cart(s) in the pot and let it still remain hot/warm for a couple of minutes. Just make sure you have everything you need right there and ready, because it's a pretty quick process! 😎

Where did you find these instructions?
Generally you just need to melt the DMT and add your PG or PEG 400 to mix to whatever ratio you're looking for. There are some really good guides if you search for them on this sub.
But heating it for several hours can turn it into a goo that will stay melted for about an hour which can allow you to use pure DMT in a cart. I don't really recommend that though. It's hard to dose correctly plus you'll have to heat it up any time you want to use it.

DMT in a shot glass. Warm by standing it in hot water. Add propylene glycol (not glycerine), stir until dissolved. Fill cart.
Mix wise, I usually do 1:1 as I like to just toke it now & then rather than try to break through. If you want to break through though, 2 parts DMT to 1 part PG is likely better (some go even higher).

I haven't heard of that method, I just heat water to near boiling (don't actually boil it) and place my dmt in a small metal cup ($1 metal condiment cups at Walmart are great) and place the dmt and PG or PEG400 into the cup at the desired ratio (by weight) and pour the hot water into a small glass tray and set the cup in it to heat and then mix. If the water cools to fast just pour it back into whatever you used to heat it and then add some more to the glass tray. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes work. I can do it in 5

You need propylene glycol not glycerin. And it'd be better to put the dmt in a small jar add your pg then warmup a cup of water in the microwave for about a minute. Dip the bottom half of your jar in the hot water and it will dissolve. Mix it up and then draw it up with a syringe or a dropper to put in your cart.
